Shawn was the best tour guide you could ask for. I mean the man knows his stuff! We went two times; one in the late afternoon and the very next day late morning. I would definitely suggest going before it gets too hot or too cold. The 10am - 12 seems like a really good time to see the basking this time of year. Shawn informed us on so many things I couldn't keep up he really enjoys what he does and it shows. You can't beat the price and the knowledge you get and the view...what a view! This is a small local business and thats who we like to support. The other companies we called did cost more and it seemed like it would have been a rushed experience. We are so glad we chose Country Cajun swamp tours and will be more than happy to recommend and return when we are in the area. Thanks again! It was an amazing tour by an amazing guide that has generations of knowledge and experience!

Incredible tour At incredible price! Take a trip with the Swiss Family Robinson of the swamps. The tour guide grew up running wild in these swamps! You can tell Sean is a true protector of his childhood playground. He is a watchful steward of its inhabitants the owls, turtles, and alligators. On this tour you will be taken to the childhood haunts and meet and see many interesting inhabitants. Very, very kind people own this company. I highly recommend!

Best tour ever! Seriously if I could them 500 stars I will had! That company is not complicated to deal with, they make it simple and easy as very confidential and professional! Exceptional, excellent, professional, friendly, sociable, knowledgeable, safe guide! Love all of it will return many times again! Thank you, it was so awesome, inspirational and instructive fun tour!

Mrs Wendy gave us the BEST sunset swamp tour experience for our first time in Louisiana. She knows Lake Martin front to back, & has so much knowledge about the beautiful Cypress trees, the wildlife, & even local recommendations for dinner. We've been on 1 other swamp tour, on an airboat..but Mrs Wendy gives a much more personal trip, gets you close enough to see the gators, & even let us borrow her binoculars for some a bit further out. Thanks so much for such a phenomenal trip!!! SUPPORT LOCAL, & WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES!!!!!! 🐊🚤🐊

Brett the bird man was a Fantastic guide! His love for the job and excitement to see the wildlife made the trip very enjoyable! We saw 6 gators of varying sizes and tons of interesting birds like rose spoonbills. The trees in the lake are gorgeous, this is exactly what we hoped a Louisiana swamp tour would be like! Sunset was a perfect time for a tour, beautiful! Thanks brett

Very pleasant boat tour with a witty, knowledgeable and humourous guide. We took the tour at the end of the day and got to see a lot of wildlife including many gators. The sunset, the smooth ride and the connection the guide seem to have with his environement made this a unique experience. The guide being a local gives you a lot of very interesting explanaitions but also gives you quiet moments for you to enjoy the view. I can't recommend this enough!

Fantastic! So much more than just gators. Our guide was so knowledgeable about all the animals and birds, the plant life, the different areas of lake/swamp/bayou. They use a quiet motor so it doesn't disturb the wildlife and the flat bottom boat got us close to everything. The scenery is simply stunning. It's a family run business and you can tell they have a great love for what they do.
